Current average returns for Small Cap Top Ideas rise to
165% with two takeovers.
The first half of 2017 has seen two takeovers of
Investorfile’s stock picks. In January of 2017, IWG Technologies was privatized
for a return of 95%. In April of 2017, RDM Corporation was taken over by
NYSE-listed Deluxe Corp. for a total return of 708%. Six of 18 Top Ideas
profiled in the Investorfile blog have been subject to takeover or a
privatization to date, which has generated substantial investment gains.
Notwithstanding the two takeovers, Investorfile's basket of
small cap value stock picks to date has delivered a current total average
return of 165%. This is up 19 points from the 146% total average return we
reported at the end of 2016. The high
point (highest stock price close) average return for
all of our Top Ideas since the inception of the Investorfile blog has climbed
to 265%. Currently, no stocks on our Top Ideas list have negative
returns.
